PRE-PLANNING OPTIONS

Because of the factors such as inflation, fewer extended family members living close by, and other changes in our society, planning your own funeral can make a lot of sense. The best time to begin making your prearrangements is now, while you're thinking about it. By taking time to collect cost information and biographical information about yourself (or the person for whom you are helping plan), you can calmly make choices related to your funeral arrangements and prevent your family from having to make these decisions at a time of extreme emotional stress.

Pre-planning can be as simple as jotting down your preferences and letting a close family member know where the list is located, to making specific decisions and paying in advance.

The Personal Planning and Record Guide link below will give you ideas about where to start with pre-planning. You can download the guide form this website or stop by the funeral anytime to pick up a printed copy.
