Obituary for Claude Elias Jones
Claude E. Jones, 45, of Holts Summit, Missouri died Friday, January 23, 2015 as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
He was born in Clinton, Mo., on January 26, 1969, the son of Claude Harrison Jones and Levetta Jewell Jones. He was employed as a forklift driver for Dollar General in Fulton, Mo. He enjoyed spending time on his computer, garage sales, playing scratch-off lottery tickets, and liked to do for others.
Surviving are two sisters, Helen M. Peek of Clinton, Mo., and Sondra Kay Schweighauser of Clinton, Mo.; two brothers, William Everett Jones of Clinton, Mo., and Jimmy Ray Jones of Clinton, Mo.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Terry Lee Jones, Clark Vernon Jones, and Clarence Edward Jones; one sister, Linda Louise Howard; two nephews, Shannon Lee Jones and Jeffrey Lee Jones; and one niece, Tara Marie Jones.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Bradley & Hadley Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be in the Bethlehem Cemetery, east of Clinton. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, at the funeral home.
